For those who want to know more about me, here it is. I was born and raised in Georgia where I still live. My childhood was somewhat normal, although I rarely speak of it or write anything about it, mainly because so many more interesting things happen as an adult than when I was a child. However, I will have to reach into the corners of my mind to search through the cobwebs and see if I can’t pull out a childhood story worthy of writing and reading.
I didn’t like school and would do most anything from faking sickness to swallowing live goldfish to make myself sick to keep from going. This feeling of hatred of school lasted right up to the time I wound up quitting in 11th grade. This is something I have always regretted even to this day, even though I got my associates degree in computer science from Gwinnett Technical College years later.
All through high school, I had the hopes of becoming a musician, and had planned to move to Nashville Tennessee to pursue this dream. However, the end of summer in 1988 something happened that would change my life forever. You can read about that in my short story, “How I Met My Wife”. At the time my life was at a standstill, but every since that day, it’s been a roller coaster ride. Most of the stories on my site are about the things that have happened to us over the past 20 years. Not all are true, some have been embellished just a little, and some are written just as it happened.
About 10 years ago, I attempted my first novel called “The Mystery Hidden in the Egyptian Tomb”. Like most first efforts, hardly worth reading, and hardly worth rewriting. However I hope to have an excerpt on my site soon. A few years ago I made another attempt at writing a second novel, “A Room Full of Murder” which is the excerpt posted on this site.
Hope you enjoy my site, please send me mail and feel free to comment.
